The CyberSec4Europe project is based on the creation, at a European level, of a structural network of centres of excellence in the field of cybersecurity so as to develop and implement a common “Cybersecurity Research & Innovation Roadmap” in the European Union.

Within the scope of the European Call for Proposals SU-ICT-03-2018 – Establishing and operating a pilot for a Cybersecurity Competence Network to develop and implement a common Cybersecurity Research & Innovation Roadmap, ABI Lab is involved in the creation of a structural Network at a European level of Cybersecurity Centres of excellence in order to develop and implement a “Cybersecurity Research & Innovation Roadmap” in the European Union called “CyberSec4Europe”.

The initiative is coordinated by the Goethe-Universität of Frankfurt; it has about 40 members representing various industries and various European countries. The characteristic that is common to all the participants is that they are European centres of excellence with expertise in the subject of research and development in the security sector.

ABI Lab’s task is to make its contribution on the subject of Cyber Training, Dissemination & Business Engagement, in addition to a validation on topics linked to security regulations in the banking and financial field (PSD2, NIS DIRECTIVE, GDPR).
